Please join us for our continuing series of live chats with Sunday School teachers and superintendents around the world. In this chat, we'll explore how we can teach using the primary texts of the Christian Science Sunday School: the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.
Every week, Sunday School teachers around the globe are pondering the questions, how can we bring ideas from the Bible and Science and Health to life in class? How are they relevant to students? If we choose to include additional resources such as picture books, games, or videos, how can we be sure we're still successfully leading students back to the Scriptures and "their textbook?" And, what can we do in class to help students engage with these treasure troves of healing ideas, outside of class and throughout their lives?
Undoubtedly listeners will have even more questions on this topic, and are invited to send them in live via computer. Susie Rynerson Jostyn will host as Ethel Baker from The Writings of Mary Baker Eddy and Ben Gladden, a Bible scholar working for my Bible Lesson, provide answers based on the Church Manual by Mary Baker Eddy, as well as their collective experience as Sunday School teachers.
